Dr. Trudy Arriaga, former superintendent and current Corwin author / national consultant and CLU Associate Dean is the ACSA Co- Chair of the New Superintendent’s Seminar Series , ACSA Targeted Assistance Program and a regional director of the ACSA Mentoring Program.  Trudy will demonstrate how she led a district utilizing the framework of cultural proficiency  to ensure that student had doors opened to equity, access and opportunity.  Trudy will discuss the critical role of the leader in shaping an organization where the success of all students is a common priority throughout the organization.  As the session focuses on the essential qualities of policies, procedures and protocol through the lens of equity, Trudy will weave in the programs that ACSA offers to superintendents to support and provide the tools and resources they need to ensure the actions of the district reflect the stated values.  Share in the privilege and responsibility to open doors for students as we take advantage of the doors ACSA provides to us!
